Rick Kress is a Managing Director at The PrivateBank in Chicago, IL. Rick is responsible for providing credit and other financial services to businesses that operate in the Construction Industry, including general contractors, specialty contractors, architects and engineers, and building materials suppliers throughout the U.S.
He currently serves as an ICCIFP trustee and has formerly served on the boards of the Chicago Chapter of the CFMA as well as the Chicago Building Congress. Rick has been a speaker at the CFMA National Conference, The AICPA Construction Industry Conference, The Associated Builders and Contractors as well as other national and local events.
Prior to joining The Private Bank in 2007, Rick spent 20 years at Harris Trust and Savings Bank and 10 years at LaSalle Bank, both headquartered in Chicago. He is an active member in the industry having served on the boards of the Chicago Chapter of the CFMA and the Chicago Building Congress. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.
