Mr. John Armour CPA

John S. Armour is the President of Capital Group Private Client Services. He also serves on the Private Client Services management committee and the North American Distribution Management Committee. He has 24 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 17 years. Previously he was a managing director with Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Before that, John was executive director of the Brookings Council at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. He holds a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College. He is a board member of The Rape Foundation in Santa Monica, California, and an emeritus member of the Board of Trustees at Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut.

John is based in Los Angeles.
